This technical report reports a set of experiments conducted to
benchmark the \wcd EST clustering system. It is produced for
comparison purposes and so it can be cited elsewhere. It does not
analyse the results in any depth; it does not explain the background
of ESTs or EST clustering; nor does it compare to other systems. Nor
does it discuss the techniques used in \wcd. 

The version of \wcd used in the experiments reported here is version
0.3.0, 23 October 2006. A preliminary manual for \wcd appeared as
\cite{hazel2003c}; however since its original publication it has been
extended significantly. The most up to date information for \wcd can
